PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a mold-opening/closing mechanism from being damaged by making it impossible to perform an automatic molding operation when a mold thickness is adjusted after completion of automatic clamping increase in a molding machine which has the operation mode of automatic clamping increase for automatically setting a mold clamping force so as to obtain the force being input and set. SOLUTION: In this molding machine, an automatic molding operation is inhibited when the mold thickness is adjusted after the mold clamping force is set by automatic clamping increase, and an alarm display is performed for inducing re-practice of automatic clamping increase.
