PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the restoration device of a liquid droplet discharge head for easily recycling the contaminated liquid droplets discharged from a nozzle without adhering them to a nozzle plate. SOLUTION: The restoration device 45 of the liquid droplet discharge head is equipped with the base 45a and cap case 45b fixed on a base stand 31. The cap case 45b has a housing recessed part 46 provided thereto in a recessed state and an ion adsorbing member 48 is arranged in the housing recessed part 46. The ion adsorbing member 48 is formed of an alumina porous body to impregnate the liquid crystal material housed in the housing recessed part 46. The ion adsorbing member 48 adsorbs ionic impurities when the ionic impurities are contained in the liquid droplets (liquid crystal material) discharged in the housing recessed part 46 from the liquid droplet discharge head.
