PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data slice circuit capable of surely recoverying the data from the first pulse of a demodulation signal. SOLUTION: A data slice circuit 3 comprises a level shift circuit 5, a reference voltage generation circuit 6 and a comparator 7. The level shift circuit 5 generates a level shift voltage SL for shifting the voltage level of an input signal SI only at a fixed voltage level, and the reference voltage generating circuit 6 generates a reference voltage SB, dividing the peak voltage and the bottom voltage of the input signal.
