The device (1) has a retaining area (3), by which a part (2) of a test device is held, and another retaining area (4) is connected with former retaining area, where the device is arranged at an instrument panel (5) of a motor vehicle by the latter retaining area. The former retaining area has two guides (6, 7), in which the part of the test device is arranged in a disk-guided manner. The device is formed from a metal frame that is provided in contact areas with the instrument panel with buffers (10).
