The arrangement has a base part (40), which is supported at its front sided end (42) in a guidance arrangement (44) between two positions, in a height adjustable manner. A sensor is provided for detecting a position of the rear sided end (41) of the base part. A electric motor (54) is provided for height adjustment of the front sided end of the base part. The electric motor works together with a control in such a manner that the front sided end of the base part is moved based on detected position of the rear sided end of the base part, in such a manner that both the ends are in two positions. An independent claim is also included for a convertible vehicle with a convertible top compartment arrangement.
