An electronic white board capturing and storing recorded data is provided to remove complicated devices such as a rod roller or a screen film and to reduce the maintenance and repair cost by disposing an image capture unit for taking a photograph at the back side of the surface where words or pictures are displayed. An electronic white board(100) capturing and storing recorded data is composed of: a recording unit(110) for providing the surface to be recorded with words or pictures; an image capture unit(120) for taking a photograph from the back side of the surface where words or pictures are displayed; and an image processing unit(130) for processing the photographed image. The recording unit is a board of which the front side recorded with the words or pictures is transparent and the rear side is opaque.
