PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for imparting tension to a corrugated sheet member by which desired tension is imparted regardless of thickness, height, pitch, etc. of the corrugated sheet member. SOLUTION: This apparatus is an apparatus for imparting tension to the corrugated sheet member for imparting prescribed tension to the corrugated sheet member 7 which is continuously transferred to a destination, the apparatus is constituted rotatably around a shaft and provided with a columnar tension roller 3 in which a magnetic force generating part 14 for generating the magnetic force from the outer peripheral part is housed. By forming the corrugated sheet member 7 from a magnetic base stock and also making this corrugated sheet member 7 attach onto the outer peripheral part of the tension roller 3, the prescribed tension is imparted to the corrugated sheet member 7.
