PURPOSE:To improve the quality of a test device and to efficiently perform a long time operating test and the test for plural devices by deciding the normal/defective condition of the display of a device targeted to be tested at a host computer side which sends a display instruction. CONSTITUTION:A host computer 1 sends data 11 for testing to a display device 2, and transfers picture data developed on a memory 22 for display in the display device 2 to the host computer 1 side. And it is compared with expected value data generated and held in advance at the host computer 1 side, and the picture data being displayed on the screen of the display device 2 is tested. Thereby, it is possible to perform the long time operating test and the test for plural display deices efficiently without applying a load on an operator, and also, to improve the quality of the test device. |
