<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical implant piece delivery system including a locking mechanism and a sheath. <P>SOLUTION: This over-the-wire interlock attachment/detachment mechanism includes a small-diameter cylindrical lock receiving section 16, and the mechanism is mounted on an implantable medical device 20. The cylindrical lock receiving section 16 has a plurality of curve cutout parts 40 disposed at spaces, which receive both a guide finger 26 and a curve locking finger 34 (these are formed on the cylindrical locking section 14). The locking finger 34 is angled outwardly from the cylindrical body 22 of the cylindrical locking section 14, and moved inwardly to engage with the curve cutout part 40 of the cylindrical lock receiving section 16 by the sheath 18 (this slides on the cylindrical locking section 14) or another suitable operator. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
