PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid jet device capable of realizing multi-step gradation by combining a plurality of drive signals including a smaller number of pulse shapes. SOLUTION: Each of a first one-pulse shape, a first two-pulse shape, a first three-pulse shape, a second one-pulse shape, a second two-pulse shape, and a second three-pulse shape is exclusively formed of either one of a pulse shape capable of ejecting a liquid droplet having a prescribed unit weight, a pulse shape capable of ejecting a liquid droplet having three times of the prescribed unit weight, a pulse shape capable of ejecting a liquid droplet having nine times of the prescribed unit weight, a pulse shape capable of ejecting a liquid droplet having two times of the prescribed unit weight, a pulse shape capable of ejecting a liquid droplet having six times of the prescribed unit weight, and a pulse shape capable of ejecting a liquid droplet having eighteen times of the prescribed unit weight.
