PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain shock that is apt to occur when regenerating brake power by a motor is reduced during brake operation in a vehicle having a motor for inputting/outputting power to/from the axle. SOLUTION: When stepping of a brake pedal 85 is continued under accelerator off state in a hybrid automobile 20, a target torque Tr* is set based on a temporary target torque Trtmp which is the sum of a request regenerative braking torque RBT based on a request regenerative braking power RBF* set by a brake ECU 95 and a base torque Tb being outputted to a ring gear shaft 32a when the brake pedal 85 is not stepped under accelerator off state. When a torque outputted at least to the ring gear shaft 32a falls within a predetermined range including a value 0, the target torque Tr* is set to vary gently based on the temporary target torque Trtmp and upper and lower limits Trt=Trt2 (S170-S200).
