PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-traveling underground parking garage capable of quickly performing loading and unloading. SOLUTION: In this two-stage type underground parking facility using a pallet, a two-storied storage shelf 28 is arranged on both sides of an underground passage for increasing storage capacity of an underground parking facility to 3 times or more; an upper inner frame 11 and a lower inner frame 14 are incorporated into a two-storied building in an outer frame 8 of a basket vertically moving in a lifting space 16; the first one automobile is received on the ground; then, the next second automobile is boarded on the pallet in these inner frames in a short time, or the upper inner frame 11 and the lower inner frame 14 are simultaneously connected to an upper chain conveyor 30 and a lower chain conveyor 32 of the underground passage 27; the two pallets are simultaneously transferred to these chain conveyors; and can be simultaneously stored on shelves of the first floor and the second floor such as the storage shelf 28.
