PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an eddy current of slot harmonics generated in permanent magnets without increasing the number of splits of the permanent magnets.
SOLUTION: In a PM motor which uses split permanent magnets 2 provided on the surface of a rotor 1 as a field system source, to reduce the eddy current generated in the permanent magnets by the fluctuation of magnetic flux density of the slot harmonics generated by a current of an armature coil 4 and the change of relative position of fixed magnetic poles and the permanent magnets, a slot-current-cancellation current of reverse phase with the same amplitude with the slot harmonics is obtained. By superimposing this cancellation current on the armature current, the fluctuation of the magnetic flux density inside the magnets is canceled.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
