<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely make desired threshold correction when employing a configuration arranged such that control over a light-emission period/non-light-emission period is performed by switching a power source potential supplied to a driving transistor is switched between a high potential and a low potential. <P>SOLUTION: In an organic EL display device having at least a threshold correcting function, a voltage corresponding to a threshold voltage Vth of the driving transistor is held in a threshold correction period prior to writing of a signal voltage Vsig of a video signal by a writing transistor, and then a power supply feeder potential DS is placed in a floating state in a period t4-t7 (a period of a time from t4 to t8 in this embodiment) until at least writing of the signal voltage Vsig is started. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
