PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planetary gear mechanism having noise and vibration reducing effects while achieving a suitable tooth contact. SOLUTION: The planetary gear mechanism comprises: a planetary carrier 3 for rotationally holding a planetary gear 2; an internal gear 4 arranged on the axis of the planetary carrier 3 for meshing with the planetary gear 2; a sun gear 5 arranged on the axis of the internal gear 4 for meshing with the planetary gear 2; and an annular member 6 elastically deformable as rotating resistance generating member for generating rotating resistance between the sun gear and the internal gear 4.
