PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent excess fuel pressure rise in an accumulator when pressure received from the inside of the accumulator storing fuel under a high-pressure condition becomes a predetermined pressure or more to thereby mechanically opening a pressure reducing means. SOLUTION: A common rail 10 is provided with the pressure regulator 20 opened when fuel pressure in the common rail 10 becomes the predetermined pressure or more. If the rotational speed of the crankshaft 3 of a diesel engine becomes the predetermined speed or more when the pressure regulator 20 is opened, the discharge of a fuel pump 4 is limited.
