A functional liquid supply apparatus, a liquid droplet ejection apparatus, a method for manufacturing an electro-optical apparatus, an electro-optical apparatus, and an electronic apparatus are provided to supply functional liquid to each sub tank even when functional liquid in a main tank is exhausted, by the operation of an auxiliary pressure applying unit and branch channel opening and closing units. A functional liquid supply apparatus comprises plural sub tanks(121), a main tank(181), functional liquid channels(126,127), a buffer tank(123), an auxiliary pressure applying unit, and plural branch channel opening and closing units. The buffer tank is inserted into the main channel. The auxiliary pressure applying unit supplies the functional liquid in the buffer tank to each sub tank when the main tank is replaced with a new one. The branch channel opening and closing units supplies the functional liquid, supplied from the main tank or the buffer tank by pressure, to each sub tank by performing opening and closing operations.
