PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce or eliminate the inconvenience of the width-directioned movement speed of massaging members, which is reduced on the wide side than on the narrow side by a simple structure in parallel linking massaging apparatus. SOLUTION: The massaging apparatus 1 includes right and left massaging members 2, a driving section 3, feed screws 4, feed nuts 5 delivered in the length direction of the feed screws 4, a connecting mechanism engaging with the massaging members 2 and the feed nuts 5 and permitting the massaging members 2 to move by transmitting the movements of the feed nuts 5 to the massaging members 2. One of the feed nuts 5 is a feed nut 52 for width movement to move the right and left massaging members 2 in the rightward and leftward width direction Y by the upward and downward movement, a horizontal shaft 25, a sliding member 26 provided at the horizontal shaft 25, a pair of right and left width link levers made up of a pair of right and left links 23 which have one end engaged with the width movement feed nut 52 and the other end pivoted and fixed to the slide member 26, and an extending mechanism 6 practically extending the length of right and left width link levers when the width between the right and left massaging members 2 expands.
