A video call device and a controlling method thereof are provided to select video contents designated by a user, and to offer the selected video contents to a designated terminal at designated time, thereby supplying a wake-up call service through the video call device. A video storage(100) stores video contents. An encoder(300) encodes the stored video contents into contents for video calls. An interface unit(500) provides a user interface with which users are able to upload the video contents to the video storage and to select particular UCC(User Created Contents) from the video storage. A video call provider(700) provides the encoded video contents to a video call terminal according to a predetermined user-designated condition. |
