<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of saving resources or else evoking saving of resources by determining whether or not suitable saving of resources is carried out in a print job being executed. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus A is provided with a job management part 8 carrying out print control by selecting either a resources saving printing mode printing by saving cost for resources or a normal printing mode based on printing mode setting data transmitted from a client.
