PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information providing device for a motorcycle capable of suppressing output of useless sound information while securing the traffic safety of an occupant of the motorcycle. SOLUTION: A helmet 20 has a wearing detecting section 230 for detecting the existence of the wearing of the helmet 20 by the occupant. A navigation device 10 acquires the detection result of the existence of the wearing of the helmet by the wearing detecting section 230 and determines the wearing state of the helmet, and, when it is determined that the helmet 20 is worn by the occupant, changes the output destination of voice guide information of a route to be provided to the occupant to a speaker 210 on the helmet 20 side. Meanwhile, when it is determined that the helmet 20 is not worn by the occupant, the navigation device 10 changes the output destination of voice guide information of the route to be provided to the occupant to a voice input/output device 150 on the navigation device 10 side.
