PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass fiber-reinforced resin composition reinforced by a flat section glass fiber and a circular section glass short fiber having a ratio of the average fiber length to the average fiber diameter (aspect ratio) of not greater than 10, which is excellent in low anisotropy and flowability, and has both good appearance and flame retardance. SOLUTION: The glass fiber-reinforced resin composition is a resin composition comprising: 40-99 pts.wt. of an aromatic polycarbonate resin (A component); 1-60 pts.wt. of a reinforcing filler (B component) composed of a flat section glass fiber (B-1 component) having a major axis of the fiber section of 10-50 μm and a ratio of the major axis to the minor axis of 1.5-8, and a circular section glass short fiber (B-2 component) having a ratio of the average fiber length to the average fiber diameter (aspect ratio) of not greater than 10; and 0.001-20 pts.wt. of a flame retardant (C component) to 100 pts.wt. of a total of A component and B component, the weight ratio of the reinforcing filler (B component) of B-1 component to B-2 component being 5/95-95/5.
