AMBER COLOR LIGHT EMITTING DEVICE

摘要

An amber color light emitting device is provided to prevent reduction of an optical output irrespective of an increase of junction temperature of a light emitting diode. A light emitting diode(3) is formed with a (Al, In, Ga)N-based compound semiconductor to emit blue light having a range of 380-480 nm. A red phosphor(7) is positioned at an upper part of the light emitting diode to convert partially the light emitted from the light emitting diode to the red light having a range of 580-700 nm. An amber color is formed by mixing the blue color light with the red color light. A sealing member(5) is formed to cover the light emitting diode. The red phosphor is distributed in the sealing member.
