A system and a method for effecting an insurance by using RFID(Radio Frequency IDentification) are provided to introduce/effect a travel or leisure insurance of a customer after payment by receiving an RFID signal from the RFID tag attached to insurance AD(ADvertisement) or a vehicle from a mobile terminal of the customer. A database(310) includes an RFID information database(311) storing tag IDs matched with each RFID tag and insurance IDs, an insurance information database(313), and a customer information database(315). An insurance information register(340) assigns the insurance ID according to insurance option and stores the insurance ID to the database by linking with the tag ID. An insurance information extractor(350) extracts the insurance information based on the insurance ID matched with the tag ID from the database when an RFID signal including the tag/insurance ID is received from a mobile terminal. An insurance information provider(360) transmits the extracted insurance information to the mobile terminal. An agreement processor(381) processes an insurance agreement of the customer. A premium processor(383) makes the customer check again contents and a payment amount of the insurance. A premium payment processor(385) processes payment of a premium when the customer requests payment. |
