A vent for a corrugated sheet roof having a ridge capping overlapping an upper marginal edge of the corrugated sheeting, is disclosed. The vent comprises a shallow elongate chamber having a base to overlie the corrugated sheet; a first (upper) end to extend under the ridge capping; a first opening in the base toward the first end to provide air flow between the chamber and the interior of the roof, through an opening in the corrugated sheets; and a second opening at or towards an opposite (lower) end of the vent to provide air flow through the chamber.
