ORGANIC LIGHT EMITTING DISPLAY AND DRIVING METHOD THEREOF

An OLED device and a driving method thereof are provided respectively to perform emission control on each pixel by implementing respective illumination control lines at the pixels on an OSD(On Screen Display) area. An OLED(Organic Light Emitting Display) device includes a sensor unit(160), a signal processing unit(170), an OSD(On Screen Display) controller(180), and an OSD area(190). The sensor unit detects external beams and outputs electrical signals. The signal processing unit receives the electrical signals and determines indoor and outdoor modes. The OSD controller connected electrically to the signal processing unit controls an illumination control driver(150) of an OLED panel(120). The OSD area includes at least one pixel circuit connected electrically to the illumination control driver. The OSD area is controlled individually by the illumination control driver.
