#CMT# #/CMT# The device (1) has a helical groove (11) and a guiding relief (12) for guiding projectiles (4) related to a load-bearing structure (2), where each projectile comprises a sub-projectile (5) containing a payload (6). The sub-projectile is expelled outside the projectiles by a secondary expulsion unit (9) i.e. pyrotechnic charge, where the secondary expulsion unit is triggered so as to exclude the sub-projectile, when the secondary expulsion unit is oriented at a relative bearing angle determined before firing. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Device for closely protecting a base such as building e.g. fixed or mobile building, and vehicle such as track-guided vehicle, railway vehicle, water vehicle and aerial vehicle, by using firing of a defensive payload. Uses include but are not limited to fumigant, lacrimator, anti-personnel payload, illuminating payload, infrared decoy and radar decoy. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The configuration of the device permits to fire the defensive payload following the determined relative bearing angle in a simple, rapid and inexpensive manner.
