<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance protection and safety performance of an occupant by reducing damage to the occupant, when the occupant's head collides against the vicinity of an airbag door rear side of an instrument panel main body due to a failure of operation of the air bag in a vehicle collision. <P>SOLUTION: A frame body 15 equipped with a frame part 17 storing an airbag module and a flange part 17 is molded of a resin higher in rigidity than the instrument panel body and is fixed to the rear face of the panel body. Front side reinforcement ribs 41 and rear side reinforcement ribs 43, which are integral with the rear side of the flange part 21 corresponding to these frame walls 17a, 17b, are integrally formed protruding in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle body, on the front side frame wall 17a and the rear side frame wall 17b of the frame body 15.
