A washing machine is provided to prevent a liquid detergent from being solidified by rotating a liquid detergent supply pump reversely for a predetermined time and collecting the liquid detergent remaining in a liquid detergent supply channel to a liquid detergent storage. A washing machine comprises a body(110), a tub(120), at least one liquid detergent storage(180), a liquid detergent supply channel(140), and a liquid detergent supply pump(145). The liquid detergent supply channel guides the liquid detergent from the liquid detergent storage to the tub. The liquid detergent supply pump is installed in the liquid detergents supply channel to transfer the liquid detergent from the liquid detergent storage into the tub, and eliminates the liquid detergent remaining in the liquid detergent supply channel by rotating reversely.
