Dishwasher comprises a frame part (3) made from a corrosion-resistant steel formed on the front end of a container hood. An independent claim is also included for a method for the production of a part of a rinsing container for a dishwasher. Preferred Features: The frame part interlocks with the container hood. The frame part has a U-shaped frame element which is downwardly inverted with two sides. The frame part forms a part of the walls impinged with rinsing liquid.
