<p>The device (1) has a feeding device (2), which guided the particle mixture as particle stream by a measuring zone (M). A lighting module (10) produces the light rays and illuminates the measuring zone with the light rays. The lighting module is formed in such a manner that it illuminate the two regions with different intensities. An independent claim is also included for a method determining size and shape of particles of a particle mixture.</p>
