The slide valve has a mechanical coupling arrangement in the form of a flexurally elastic push rod (7) guided in a U-shaped guide channel (6) connecting two slide element bores (5a,5b) of the valve housing (1). Both ends of the push rod are balled to make point contacts with the flat ends of the corresponding slide elements (4a,4b) .
