FIELD: technological processes. ^ SUBSTANCE: subject of invention is sorting device and method of oblong objects sorting, such as saw timber, into serially installed sorting sections or into corresponding collection pools with provision of reliable products supply into preset sorting section. In the process of sorting subjects, such as saw timber, are moved with transverse conveyor above the sorting sections, and separate subjects are sorted in accordance with previously determined properties into suitable predetermined sorting sections with the help of sorting mechanisms, which are installed opposite to every sorting section. According to the invention, sorting mechanisms are installed with the possibility of joint movement in relation to sorting sections along trajectory of transverse conveyor movement for installation into preset position with predetermined installation clearance in relation to sorting sections, especially in relation to sorting sections inlets. ^ EFFECT: development of efficient sorting device for sorting of oblong objects. ^ 10 cl, 9 dwg |
