PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a user-friendly communication terminal device facilitating switching between hands-free call and handset call, without operating a key or a switch. SOLUTION: The communication terminal device available in hands-free call or handset call by switching. The device comprises a speaker for handset used for handset call, a speaker for hands-free used for hands-free call, a microphone used both for handset call and hands-free call, and a human sensing means. When the human sensing means senses a human body within a predetermined short distance from the speaker for handset the device is switched to the handset call, and when a human body is not sensed within the predetermined short distance, the device is switched to the hands-free call.
