PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust head allowing connection of a lead wire to a current-carrying means to be easily carried out in the exhaust head, and capable of preventing breakage of the lead wire and damage of a glass tube by application of a load on the lead wire and the glass tube; a manufacturing device of a low-pressure discharge lamp; and a manufacturing method of a low-pressure discharge lamp. SOLUTION: In this manufacturing method of a low-pressure discharge lamp provided with, at both ends of a glass bulb, with electrode mounts 121 each having an electrode 7, and two lead wires 122 for supporting the electrode 7, this exhaust head 106 is used for exhausting air from the glass tube 101 used for forming the glass bulb, and is structured such that a pair of current-carrying means 116 for carrying a current to the electrode 7 and the two lead wires 122 by connecting the respective lead wires 122 are arranged in a housing 114 having an insertion hole 115 for inserting the glass tube 101 therein, and an intake/exhaust opening 117 for executing air intake/exhaust; and the current-carrying means 116 are magnetized.
