PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup and optical disk device in which optical components can be rotation-adjusted, while maintaining the positioning state of the optical components. SOLUTION: An optical component 15 is incorporated in a base 30 via a press spring 32. The optical component 15 is provided with an outer peripheral component 36, and the outer peripheral component 36 is provided with an outer peripheral plane 38, a first contact plane 40 and a second contact plane 42. The outer peripheral plane 38 is formed with a cylindrical plane centered about an optical axis 15A. The first contact plane 40 is extended on a flat plane which is orthogonal to the optical axis 15A. The second contact plane 42 is formed with a conical plane having tilt, in which a diameter of the conical plane becomes larger gradually as proceeding to one side of end parts from the other side of the end parts in the optical axis 15A direction in the conical plane centered about the optical axis 15A. The conical plane, constituting the second contact plane 42, is formed so that the angleθbetween the optical axis 15A and the conical plane is larger than 0°and smaller than 45°.
