PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a corner part mounting method and mounting structure of a weather strip which materialize a strong holding strength to a flange at a corner part and easy positioning. SOLUTION: In the mounting method, a weather strip 1, made by die forming in a corner part a mounting base 10 of a substantially U-shaped cross section consisting of a car exterior side sidewall 11, a car interior side sidewall 12 and a bottom wall 13 connecting both sidewalls 11, 12 and a hollow seal part 20 provided to the car exterior side sidewall 11 of the mounting base 10 and brought into elastic contact with a door D when the door is closed, is mounted in a flange F provided along a corner part X of a door opening peripheral edge in an automobile body B. A clip 30 having clamping parts with widths W1, W2 narrower than the thickness S of the flange F are mounted inside the die formed mounting base 10.
