PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooler with a defrosting heater attaining space saving of the cooler and defrosting heater, besides reducing power consumption in defrosting by considerably improving the defrosting effect of the cooler and an accumulator. SOLUTION: The cooler 120 disposed in a refrigerator body 100 which is a heat insulating box body forming a storage chamber comprises a cooling tube 121, fins 123 and the accumulator 122. The defrosting heater 130 which is a double tube heater composed of a heater wire 133 formed of a resistor, a glass tube 134 covering the heater wire 133, and a metal tube 135 covering the glass tube 134, is fixed in close contact with the accumulator 122 located below the cooler 120. Heat conduction and in-tube convection from the accumulator 122 can thereby be considerably improved to efficiently carry out defrosting. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
