PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent increase of structure resistance due to expansion and deformation of folded ridge parts in downstream side of a filter medium and provide a filter usable at low pressure loss, low resistance and high wind velocity while keeping the V-shaped state of the filter medium. SOLUTION: With respect to a cross-sectional view of a pleated filter medium in the direction in which the pleats are neighboring, the filter medium are provided with ribbons formed in both side surfaces of pleats in the upstream side and downstream side from the center part of the cross-sectional view and one of the ribbons in both side surfaces in the downstream side is extended in liner state or dotted line-like state to the periphery of the inner side ridge parts of the pleats in the upstream side from the center part of the cross-sectional view.
