<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a die apparatus for casting, in which a pair of left and right warm keeping members are disposed in a gate-riser part space between movable dies and in which the failure due to the fall of slag onto an upper surface of a gypsum die during die clamping of the warm keeping members and further, the lifetime duration of the warm keeping members can be improved. <P>SOLUTION: The gate-riser part space 10 of the gate-riser part is disposed above a cavity 9 of a product part Q partitioned by the gypsum die 2 and the movable dies 5a, 5b, and the pair of the left and right slidable warm keeping members 12a, 12b provided with opening/closing drive units 11 such as hydraulic cylinders or drive motors are disposed in the gate-riser part space 10 of the pair of the movable dies 5a, 5b. The pair of the left and right slidable warm keeping members 12a, 12b is formed of ceramic fibers or graphite to a U shape in plane cross section.
