<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a counter electrode for a dye-sensitized solar cell, having ample high adhesion with a substrate that has low wettability, low interface resistance, and superior cell characteristics, and to provide a dye-sensitized solar cell using it. <P>SOLUTION: A layer having a binding site and an electricity conducting site is formed on a counter electrode substrate, and a catalytic active layer comprising a conductive polymer layer is formed on the layer. Preferably, each site of the layer having the binding site and the electricity conducting site is alternately exposed to the surface so that mutual sites have unevenness in the thickness directions. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
