<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device which hardly causes damage such as deformation, bending and turning up of an elastic sheet member, due to drop and shock in the physical distribution from when the developing device is manufactured in a factory to when a user performs the opening operation of a seal member sealing toner in a toner storage chamber and to provide a process cartridge. <P>SOLUTION: Air inside and outside a developing chamber can flow by a communication path 62, until the user performs the opening operation of the seal member and the communication path is blocked up by a blocking member 63, to prevent the toner from leaking from the communication path, after the user opens the seal member. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
