PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and method for suppressing reduction in band and the deterioration in performance, when being applied to a protocol returning a response to data transfer from the other side, in the data transmission that uses a serial bus. SOLUTION: A network system is provided with an asymmetric serial bus is constituted by multiplexed unidirectional serial buses (31 to 34) on which synchronizing signal is superimposed and single serial bus (41) in the opposite direction as a pair, and the multiplexed serial buses are used primarily for data transfer, and the single bus in the opposite direction is used for transferring control information, such as ACK response, with respect to data transfer.
