PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cordless telephone set capable of effectively utilizing a function for calling a specific slave unit on the basis of a specific caller telephone number. SOLUTION: In a master unit 10, a called destination table storage section 15 stores a called destination table in which a caller telephone number, a called destination slave unit number corresponding to the caller telephone number and a called destination name that is the name of a slave unit corresponding to the caller telephone number are set so as to correspond to one another. A called destination determination section 13 specifies a called slave unit by referring to the called destination table. When a request to update the called destination is received from a slave unit, a called destination update processing section 14 performs the update processing of the called destination table. In a slave unit 20, a called name storage section 24 stores data of a called destination name received from the master unit. A voice recognition result determination section 25 transmits an update request to the master unit 10 when a result of recognition by a voice recognition section 23 which performs recognition processing on an input voice is matched with data of the called destination name stored in the called name storage section 24.
