PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low profile image recording device capable of allowing a user to easily take out an image-recorded medium which is discharged in a barrel. SOLUTION: A paper feed tray 29 and a paper delivery tray 21 are arranged in an opening 16 of a printer unit 20 with the paper delivery tray 21 on the upper side. A recording paper stored in the paper feed tray 29 is image-recorded in a process of being conveyed along a conveying passage 23 and discharged on the paper delivery tray 21. In the first posture, an end face 117 of the paper delivery tray 21 and an opening surface 19 of the printer unit 20 form substantially same planes. The posture of the paper delivery tray 21 is changed from the first posture to the second posture when a rear end face 117 of an expansion tray 61 is pressed in from the opening surface 19. By the posture change of the paper delivery tray 21, a space for a user to put his hand to take out a recorded paper sheet is expanded downward of and to a distal side of the opening 16.
