<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein an accelerator pedal is wrongly operated by mistake in a hurry in the case of suddenly stopping an automobile during traveling by separating a foot from the accelerator pedal and stamping on a brake pedal. <P>SOLUTION: When stopping an automobile during the travelling, the brake pedal 3 is operated to stop the automobile. In the case of stopping the automobile in emergency, the accelerator pedal 4 is operated out, and when an accelerator pedal switch 5 is turned on, a solenoid valve 12 is closed, and air compressed by an air compressor 10 is fed from a tank 11 to a cylinder 13, and a piston is operated to operate an interlocked hydraulic piston cylinder 14 so as to feed the pressurized oil to a pressure increasing machine 6 through a pipe 8, and the pressurized oil of which pressure is increased is fed to the brake cylinder 7 installed in each wheel through a pipe 9, and brake is thereby applied to stop the automobile. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
