PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve structure of a shock absorber capable of satisfying both ride-comfort and the stroke length in a vehicle. SOLUTION: This valve structure of the shock absorber has a valve disc 1 having a port 2b defining one chamber 41 and the other chamber 42 in the shock absorber and communicating the one chamber 41 with the other chamber 42, and a leaf valve 10b laminated on the other chamber side surface of the valve disc 1 and opening-closing the port 2b, and has a spool 12 laminated on the leaf valve 10b, a passage 8 communicating the back face side of the spool 12 with the one chamber 41, and a relief valve 14 opening-closing a passage, and is characterized by energizing the leaf valve 10b to the valve disc 1 side by the spool 12 by making pressure of the one chamber 41 act on the spool 12 when the relief valve 14 operates for opening the valve.
