PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structural design support system for a building by which an optimal structure can rapidly be extracted. SOLUTION: The system is provided with: a design policy setting means 41 for setting structural design policy data, such as a building construction method of the building or a reference module, input by an input device 2; a plan setting means 42 for fetching shape data and opening position data of each room; a wall position setting means for setting wall position data from data fetched by the plan setting means and a reference module; a load calculation means for calculating input loads; an arrangement pattern generating means for generating an arrangement pattern of all the bearing walls including the structural design policy data; and an allowable arrangement pattern extraction means for extracting the arrangement pattern of a wall amount that satisfies a condition of the structural setting policy from the patterns.
