PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combined mode radar system capable of precisely measuring a position and reducing interferences with other systems, by using a narrow-band radar and a wide-band radar together and operating them so as to act along with each other. SOLUTION: The combined mode radar system 100 has a narrow-band radar section 102 and a wide-band radar section 103 being disposed in the same case and is configured such that both sections are operated along with each other under control of an arithmetic section 101. Data sets measured by the narrow-band radar section 102 and the wide-band radar section 103 are input to the arithmetic section 101, and an operation of measuring a distance is carried out precisely in the arithmetic section 101, based on the measured data sets input from the both sections.
