PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly detect a voltage drop by the use of a simple and low-cost constitution. SOLUTION: A voltage drop detecting circuit comprises a self-holding section connected to a power supply, and including a first electromagnetic relay; and an output section, including a second electromagnetic relay for exciting a coil in the first electromagnetic relay for a predetermined period, if the output voltage from the power supply is a predetermined voltage or larger, closing a normally-opened contact, or opening a normally-closed contact so as to supply an output for the predetermined period. The first electromagnetic relay forms a self-holding circuit, when it is excited. In this way, the voltage drop can be detected properly by the use of a simple and low-cost constitution.
